Applied Theology for Kids

Sunday 5 July 2015

  • Applied Theology for Kids
  • All In Service, Pastor Arnie Hall
  1. God loves me (no matter what)
    • Christmas – we feel it
    • Accidents – we might feel it
    • Bad things are done to us – we don’t feel it

      Our faith is not situational.

  1. There is:
    1. The Good: Everything was originally created very good.
    2. The Bad: We rebelled.
    3. The New: God made a way to fix things.
    4. The Perfect: The coming age.

We live in the in-between age of b) and c). We try to cling to b) while hoping for d).

  2. Do we keep on sinning? Of course not!
    • Romans 6:1-2
    • Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not.
  1. The world is nothing compared to the church!
    • “The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world: the world is peripheral to the church!”
    • Ephesians 1:22-23 MSG

James says:

  • A brilliantly simple presentation of the “four-square gospel”.
