Love is… slow to anger

Gave my first NZ sermon in 14 years (since Tane was born) at Align Church Taita on Sunday.  I have preached in South Africa since then, but I haven’t in NZ since my Elim Church Intern days.  It felt good to be at it again.  Here are my notes.

  1. I would think anger is simply an emotion, a signal to stop & think “what is causing this?” It is the actions that follow anger that can ruin lives & relationships. It is what we do … How we choose to handle anger. Pray. Keep talking to God about it. Ask Him why it’s there if you don’t know. Ask Him to change your heart & let Him fight for you.
